What if I received an alert about my credit card account?

We continue to enhance our services to reduce potential fraud on your Credit Human credit card. You’ll be alerted in up to three ways if there is suspicious activity on your credit card. This allows you to deny fraudulent activity before it’s applied to your card.

  • Text:  You’ll receive a text asking if the transaction is yours. Simply reply “yes” or “no.” Members with cell service through AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile will not be charged text message or data rates. You can opt-out of the text messages at any time.
  • Phone:  If you don’t reply to the text within 30 minutes, you’ll receive a phone call.
  • Email:  If you don’t answer the phone call, you’ll receive an email about the suspicious transaction(s).
If you reply that the transaction is not yours, you’ll then receive a call from a fraud specialist. This three-step approach helps ensure that suspicious activity is addressed quickly so the fraud is stopped as soon as possible.

Note:  Throughout this process, you will not be asked for personal or account information by the fraud specialist or through text or email.
