Where are Credit Human locations and what are the hours?

We have many ATMs, locations, and shared branch options in San Antonio and Houston, and hours vary by location. To get details on any Credit Human location, access our online locator.

What holidays do you observe?

All Credit Human locations are closed on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.  All locations will close early on Christmas Eve.

What is Shared Branching?

Nationwide, credit unions have formed various alliances giving branch access to credit union members at more than 5,000 locations, including many within Texas. This combination of resources is referred to as CO-OP Shared Branching. Credit Human offers its members the convenience of increased account accessibility at these additional facilities. Shared Branching is especially convenient for members who find a location close to their home or work, travel and need access to Credit Human services, or must re-locate and still wish to maintain a relationship with Credit Human. Note: Credit Human does not participate in the ATM Co-Op.  ATM transactions at Co-Op ATMs are subject to fees imposed by the ATM owner.  Credit Human does not support Vcom transactions at 7-Eleven locations.

What transactions can I complete at a Shared Branch?

Check with the branch you choose for a list of services offered. Not all services will be available at every Shared Branch location. The list of transactions members may be able to complete at shared branches includes:
 
  • Balance inquiries and transaction history
  • Savings deposits and withdrawals
  • Check cashing
  • Transfers within members’ accounts
  • Consumer payments (not credit cards, or education or real estate loans)
  • Money orders, notary, and fax services 
Note that fees for services at Shared Branches are determined by each location separately, and may not reflect fees charged by Credit Human.

What member services are not available at Shared Branch locations?

Credit Human members will not be able to complete the following transactions at shared branches. To maintain member security, there are no exceptions to these restrictions:
 
  • ATM/Debit card maintenance (request/issue, estate settlements)
  • Credit card payments
  • Credit card cash advances (may be available at some locations)
  • Offline withdrawals or cash-back transactions
  • Third-party cashing
  • Opening a new account
  • Adding or deleting members from existing accounts
  • Adding or deleting stop payments
  • Fee reversals
  • Collection draft items
  • Loan closings
  • Education loan payments
  • Real estate loan payments
  • IRA transactions
  • Share Certificate transactions
  • Insurance check endorsements
  • Powers of Attorney

How can I take advantage of Shared Branching?

No sign up is necessary — just find the location you wish to use and be sure you meet the qualifications. Members who meet the following requirements automatically qualify for this service:
 
  • Member must know their credit union affiliation, account number and present a valid photo ID to make a Shared Branching transaction
  • Member must be an authorized signer for the account
  • All Credit Human accounts must be in good standing (no outstanding payments, legal issues, etc.)
  • Account must be free of special handling designations including accounts with a password or two signature requirement, guardianship or representative payee accounts, and accounts restricted by court order or controlled by the Collection Department

Is Credit Human an "issuer" or “acquirer” and what does it mean?

Credit unions in the Shared Branching alliance have the option to be an issuer, an acquirer or both. Credit Human is an “issuer”. As an issuer, Credit Human allows its members to use the branches of participating credit unions and Credit Union Service Centers for various financial transactions.

Who do I contact with questions on my insurance policy?

The Credit Human insurance agency, CU Factory Built Insurance Agency (CUFBIA) has been closed. Your policy remains in force and there is no action required on your part.  If you currently have insurance written through CUFBIA, listed below are the contact numbers for policy assistance.

How do I set up direct deposit for my Federal Government benefits?

To sign up for direct deposit of your federal benefit payments such as Social Security, SSI, or VA Compensation and Pension Payment:
  • Go to the U.S. Department of the Treasury website www.godirect.org, or
  • Enroll by phone by calling the U.S. Department of the Treasury toll free at: 800-333-1795
You'll need your:
  • Social security number or claim number
  • 12-digit federal benefit check number
  • Amount of most recent federal benefit check

How much can I deposit into an ATM?

You can deposit up to 10 checks or 30 banknotes (aka cash/bills) in a single transaction.

Do ATMs accept cash or check deposits?

ATMs that accept deposits are noted on our website with “Accepts Deposits” next to their name. All Credit Human ATMs that accept deposits will take both cash and checks.

How can I deposit a check?

You can deposit checks with the Credit Human mobile app, in person at one of our locations, or using of one our ATMs that accept deposits.

What is an advisor?

An advisor is like a teller who will guide you with step-by-step instructions and assistance with your account, and much more.

Are transaction slips required?

No, transaction slips are not required to make a transaction.

How do I get started at the ITM?

You have two choices- use the machines 24 hours a day as an ATM, simply swipe your debit card. During our service hours, simply tap the screen and someone will be available to personally assist you.

Will the ITMs accept cash and checks?

Yes, ITMs accept both cash and checks. When making a deposit, simply let us know you have both cash and check and we will walk you through the steps to make the deposit.

Is there a limit to the amount of cash I can deposit?

There are no deposit limits however, to prevent jams and returns, we will ask you to enter your items in small batches of about 30 items per batch.

Do you have all bill denominations?

Currently we offer the following denominations 50’s, 20’s, 5’s and 1’s.

Do I need to provide an ID at the ITM?

A photo ID is required for account information, withdrawals and check cashing when using an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM).

Are there withdrawal limits at ITMs?

ITMs follow the same withdrawal practices as branches and Financial Health Centers.

Do ITMs accept coins?

No, loose/rolled coin will not be accepted or exchanged at ITMs.

Are there any bills or checks you cannot accept?

We can accept most bills and checks and will review all items at the time you make your deposit. In order to ensure a smooth transaction, we do ask that all deposit items:

  • Be free of any staples, glue, tape or other foreign objects 
  • Have all checks endorsed
  • Bills be straight and not crumpled

Am I able to get a money order or cashier’s check at an ITM?

To purchase a money order or cashier’s check please visit a Financial Health Center or branch.

Am I able to do a wire transfer at an ITM?

Are ITMs handicap accessible?

Yes, ITMs are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant.

I’m hearing impaired, will I still be able to use the ITM?

Yes. Tap the screen, select your language and then you’ll see a chat option to communicate with an advisor.
